When a stranger offers to pay for a night for him he is sprung. Heather just saw the man was in a terrible position and she was only to happy to offer this handsome stranger just about anything. What happens next is just a whirlwind romance, totally unexpected and completely enchanting for Heather, who never expected to find love and Gage, is grateful for life's unexpected happenings. Can two polar opposites take the plunge, is there more then sexual chemistry? With each book we grow more enamoured with Ms. Roseton. Her romances are sexy and charming with the perfect amount of sensuality and sexuality, her books are a pleasure to read and makes you appreciate the female form. Gave the book 5 stars, The new series is so different, nothing like her past writing. Bravo, so excited to read the next book in the series(Gage has brothers,which means more books that)!

Finding love in unexpected places By Elizabeth Evans ****WARNING THIS BOOK CONTAINS ADULT SITUATIONS******This book was given for an honest review.Gage goes to New York for a ranchers conference. When he arrives at the hotel to find his wallet stolen from him, he finds something he wasn't looking for. Heather thinks she is where she needs to be to further her career. She loves being an event planner for the hotel, but its not all she thought it would be. When Gage shows up with no credit card to pay for his hotel. Offering to help him pay for his hotel turns into an adventure for her that may change hers life forever.I love this series. It a pleasant adventure in finding love no matter what you look like. I love getting to experience finding finding love without a lot of complications. Jens books always give me a happy smile by the end. If your looking a quick read that reminds you love can be simple and a delight to find this are the books for you.

By Chrissybear77 I received a copy of this book in exchange for a Honest review.I loved this book, it is a Great start to a new Amazing series. I loved Gage and Heather, Sparks fly between them. There is a a really cute twist in this book. I am not giving it away. But this book is so good, it's one of the books, you can't wait for the ending but at the same time you don't want it to end.I can't wait for more books in this new series. As always Ms. Roseton, always give you a great book.I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS BOOK MORE THEN FIVE STARS. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR GET THIS BOOK.There is also Charlie the Puppy, he is so cute.

He’s the perfect Sexy Texan in VLT’s new trilogy featuring the reunion of three friends Vince, Mac and Travis who used to work together at the now defunct Double J Dude Ranch in Bickford, Texas. Georgie is the dedicated daughter who returns from school to save her dad’s general store. I loved the interest and chemistry that resurfaces when these two meet up again. They fight their attraction as he needs to move on and she needs to stay. Interesting family dynamics between Georgie and her step sisters Charlotte and Anastasia and her step mother. I can’t wait to see what happens when Mac and Travis also move back to Bickford. The wild horses and the scenery add a lot of color to the storyline.

Wonderful contemporary romance - start of a new series By Pamerd Crazy for the Cowboy is the first book in a series that centers on a dying town, but with the help of current and former residents they make plans to turn things around.Georgie has lived in Bickford all her life but since the main employer left the area she has struggled to keep the family’s general store open. The town is slowly dying and with only a handful of people left and she is worried.Vince use to work at the guest ranch but since it closed he has moved on to work at other ranches in the area, yet a certain mysterious horse has been on his mind and he wants to see if the Ghost is still around. When he arrives with his two friends, Mac and Travis, they are all saddened by the town’s downfall however he is surprisingly happy that Georgie still lives here. They start talking about an idea that might just bring in the tourist and Wildhorse Canyon Adventures starts to materialize, but Vince believes he will be long gone by the time it gets off the ground.This had a different feel than many books I have read lately. It was a bit depressing in the beginning as the story centers around a dying town and the residents that are at a loss of how to help resurrect things but the story picks up when ideas come together.Georgie is just trying to keep the general store afloat, she has lived in Bickford Texas since she was born and has been through some good times and bad. When Vince and his buddies come to town she is worried they want to pick up where they left off, crazy cowboys stirring up trouble. For several reasons in the past Georgie and Vince never hooked up, not for Vince’s lack of trying but she was never interested in the wild cowboys that worked on the ranch.Vince is not your typical hero and would not even be in town except he was feeling nostalgic about the Ghost, the elusive wild horse. When he arrives he remembers a woman who also caught his fancy and was happy to see her still in town and still single. Vince is different, he has no desire to stay in one place and when he suggests the adventure idea he has no plans to be here when they launch. I guess I wanted more from him, I enjoy reading about reluctant heroes but he was almost too reluctant. However between Georgie and the horses, he is pulled in, fighting with every breath.The two are looking at different futures and have no plans for their tentative friendship to grow into anything more and the romance is slow to build. She knows he will not stay and he knows she will not leave. It is only after he realizes that he is getting personally invested and wants not only to see how things progress with the adventure business but also with Georgie.The pace of the story is relaxed and there is not much drama as we watch their relationship slowly turn into much more. Secondary characters play huge roles as Mac and Travis help with the new ideas and will be coming back to work, and of course Georgie’s two sisters are in the picture and as a matter of fact, the next book will feature her sister Anastasia and Mac. Crazy For the Cowboy is set in Bickford Texas, a small town on the decline. Since the local ranch that brought in tourist burnt to the ground four years ago, things just haven't been the same.Georgie Bickford, loves her hometown and is trying with all her might to keep herself and the ones she loves in town. But with her and her sister being the only two under the age of 50 in the town, if something doesn't change soon, her dreams of staying in Bickford might be just a dream.So when Travis, Mac and Vince come strolling into town one weekend, Georgie gets a little suspicious. She remembers the three cowboys from their days on the ranch. Why would they be coming back to a town that holds nothing for them? The boys are in town for a little reunion and are set on going after the wild horse herd that roams just outside of Bickford. Vince has always had the dream of catching the pack leader - a stallion named Ghost. And when he finds out that Georgie is ready to thwart their plans, he becomes even more dead set on proving her wrong. He can and will catch the stallion.Georgie and her sister do what they can to make sure the boys don't make it out onto the trail. While Mac and Travis question why they returned to the small town that is far from its former glory days. By D Thompson Jr Bennett's character development from the end of the first book to the end of this second part of the trilogy was fascinating. Interwoven with a narrative that brings Belmar to life, I found Jimmy's journey extremely compelling, for himself, the ones he loves and his friends. I have to admit, I didn't see the twist coming with Ronny . . . a fascinating mess. I can't wait to see how the journey continues in Part Three!

Mick Bennett shows us more of Jimmy's character in a very real way. In this book more of Jimmy's Irish Catholic background is explored along with more of Jimmy's past. Can't wait for book 3 and rereading the trilogy again since I blew thru the first two books not being able to restrain myself to find what happens next.

I liked the fact that the narrator told his story with feeling and accuracy, and I liked the wider theme development. Peggy cracks me up, and I knew someone exactly like Vinny when I spent time in Belmar. The courage Jimmy shows is my favorite part.

7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Perfect Summer Reading By Deborah Hauser The Red Chameleon is the perfect summer read and a real page turner. It has just the right amount of twists and turns, but never gets too complicated to follow. It's sexy, but not sentimental and doesn't have an ending that ties up too neatly. It's a cut above the usual crime novel with a well-developed and complex heroine who feels very true to life. Kat Stone makes errors and suffers the consequences instead of having things work out magically. I can't wait for the sequel.

Nothing particularly exciting and the amount of time devoted to disguises/wigs was terminal. Can't see myself being interested in future books with this character. Nothing special or appealing about her.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Short on Excitement By D. McDonald Here is a shaggy dog story,long on asides with a meandering story line. Written in the first person, we tag along while our heroine considers from moment to moment what she should do, what she will or won't do and what she's doing (perhaps wrongly). Some of these thoughts are humorous, but eventually I tired and began wishing for a more clear forward momentum. This book lacks a thrill, any mystery or a clear denouement. Just nothing here to recommend.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. The best book Alma Boykin has written, yet. By Travis Letteer I received a pre-published copy from the author as a beta reader. I have to say this is the best book Miss Boykin has yet published. Probably the best I have read this year. This is set in her Colplatski universe, but a couple of generations before the Elizabeth Sarmas novels. While it has the well rounded characters and tight plot I have come to expect from Miss Boykin, the action is even more gripping than usual (and feels more explicit, like you are actually seeing it, rather than hearing/reading about it), and the plot just sucks you in. You can't put it down until you are finished. I won't put any spoilers in by telling you the ending, but it was poignant. Every once in a great while you will read a book that has an ending that really twangs your emotions, one of those where the ending will stay with you forever, and cause you to go back and reread the book, just so you can get to the ending, again. This is one of those books.It is really hard to describe why this book is better than anything she has written before, when you go to describe it, it is what I have come to expect from Miss Boykin, only more so. It's like double chocolate fudge, it is still chocolate, but it is better than just chocolate.
