Kendra has shall we say trust issues and Jake has something at least approaching shall we say fidelity issues. Put them together and you've got a story that only a gifted writer backed up by God could resolve. Lee reaches down deep inside her characters and in so doing reaches deep down inside her readers. Don't pass up a chance to read this engrossing story of the different ways God works to reach hearts. I absolutely loved this book. It stands well alone, but why would anyone want to stop at one? Put Lee Tobin McClain at the top if your read-everything-she's-ever-written list.

This is the third book in the Sacred Bond Guardians Series, and although it can be read as a standalone I can assure you that after you read it you will want to read the first two. This has been one of the best Christian Suspense and Romance series that I have read and Lee is one of my favorite authors. This one tells the story of Jake, an ex-serviceman and former cop who is trying to get his life back together and travels to West Virginia to watch over his fallen comrade's sister, a social worker who is being threatened by the Demons, a motorcycle gang, and this one is another one from this author that was impossible to put down. I was given a copy of this one in return for an honest review, and I can definitely say this is another one that I definitely recommend.

Kendra's town is being torn apart by a biker gang-the same gang intent on hurting her. Jake is Kendra's deceased brothers friend sworn to protect Kendra, but they have a past that left a bad taste to Kendra filled with distrust. The two must learn to work together to save their kin and themselves from the gang of "demons". This story is a real page turner and will keep you drawer in from start to finish!
