This book vividly describes life in the big houses of Ireland at the beginning of the 20th century and also the horror that was WW1.As with A.O'Connors previous novels the character development is excellent.I am patiently waiting for the next book by A.O'Connor.

By Suzanne Rose This book will keep your interest throughout; it is full of many surprises. I really enjoyed reading this historical romance. The big drawbacks arethe constant mistakes in grammar and sentence structure.........why the corrections were not made, I do not understand. That is why I did not rate The Left-Handed Marriage with 5 stars.
