I have read and loved every book that Kelli as written, she has a way of pulling you in from the very first page.I fell in love with Theo from the very beginning, He comes across as a bad boy but Cassie knows the sweet and kind side of him. The two of them went to high school together and there was always an attraction but never acted on it. Now after 6 years Theo is in town to record an album with his band.And guess who is working at the recording studio?Will old friends rekindle what was left behind years ago or will they just stay friends? You'll have to read and find out.This is a standalone and I will say you will not be disappointed. This book is worth all 5 stars and more. Kelli you've done it again as I knew you would.

Coming back to his home town was never part of the plan, but is it possible he can have a chance at both dreams at once?She cared for him once but thought he only ever saw her as a friend. After all he never took their flirting that one step further. Now 6 years later he is back and hotter than ever, is there a second chance at what she has secretly always hoped for?Cassie is strong and self assured she knows what she wants and when she wants it and doesn't let anything get in her way.Theo is a guy who knows what he wants, but going after it? Well that's something he needs help with from time to time. He is sweet and caring even though most only see the bad boy persona he shows.These two are allot of back and forth knowing what they want, but not how to get it. Coming up with schemes to spend time together rather than admit what they really want and it was fun to see when they both realized the other person wanted them just as muchWith plenty of HOT scenes, second chances, and a little old lady with a touch of magic you're sure to enjoy this one!

With each book she writes she grows not only as a writer but shows true emotion in each one of her characters and stories. She takes the time to write each story carefully and editing each numerous times to remove redundancy and make each story as if you are living it.Longing For You is such a touching and amazing story about a love that blossomed at a very young age but did not present its opportunity to blossom until the characters took the time to grow and weed out the wrongs until the perfect blossom appeared. Theo and Cassie are a true soulmate story of a love that began so very long ago. I felt each emotion of the characters as the story unfolded, cried, laughed and found myself fearful a time or two when things seemed to get weedy. I love each of the characters and love the fact that Kelli adds that tiny bit of paranormal that she loves into each of her stories.I have been honored several times to read ARC/BETA copies of several of her books and have found each one thought provoking, loyal, full of emotion and most importantly, characters we all fall in love with and can associate our own selves with at times.This is a FIVE STAR read and I cannot wait to read every other story this amazing and intriguing author writes!
