I loved the characters and the story line. These 2 ladies did an outstanding job on re-releasing Leaving Triad. This was actually the first time I had read a sci-fi romance novel and was impressed. I will be looking for more of these stories by KD Jones in the future.*** Review copy provided by the author ***

I preordered the book and when I received it yesterday on my Kindle I read it cover to cover. I certainly enjoyed this great story about an alien former mercenary ship captain, who decides to cash in on people fleeing Earth in the face of a solar disaster. He meets a woman who boards his shi with a rude an who claims to be her boyfriend, and falls for her. The authors did a great job of asking me hate the ex boyfriend who was just along for a free ride and whatever money he could get from the heroine. The boyfriend is a chronic gambler who ends up betting the heroine in a card game and loses her to the captain. The two are drawn to each other, despite the heroine's misgivings and it was fun to see their relationship progress. There is a HEA and of course the slimy boyfriend isn't out of the story. I hope that the authors write more books in this series, as I'd definitely buy and read them!

By Arch_Angel While Sci Fi Romance is not my usual genre, I throughly enjoyed Leaving Triad. The characters were well developed and interesting; the Alien Hero Captain Zor is honourable with an intense sense of integrity, and will not tolerate the abuse of innocents, even if they are human.Emily may appear to be a weak victim, but her desire for independence requires she stand on her own two feet and fight for the life she deserves, while enduring abuse from her scumbag ex-boyfriend who does’t understand the concept of EX.The relationship that developed between Captain Zor and Emily is wonderfully written and the events that transpired around this budding romance are action packed and keep the story flowing at a steady pace.I’ll definitely be looking for the next instalment in this series.
