Anything David Leadbeater writes is gonna be a nail biter. Problem is I read them too fast and then I am left waiting for the next book. I think as this series has developed, the characters and the suspense get better and better. Just when you think you have the plot figured out, it takes a big curve.....Love Love Love reading these books. Great read !!!

Needless to say you really should read previous Matt Drake adventures to understand the fast paced action that goes on page after page after page. This one holds up rather well and no way will you figure out what comes next. Gosh there are some really nasty folks in literary land and we thank Matt & crew (and David) for taking them on!

By Arthur Canizares The actual archelogical discoveries don't even seem to be important. What I'm struggling with in the series is very little time is devoted to what is supposed to be the whole purpose of the evil and violence, the historical discoveries. The Lost Kingdom not only is destroyed with twenty pages, it's significance is never really explained.
