I am so glad I started to read this series. The author has brought some deeper subjects to light, and shown how we as Christians Dan deal with them. I appreciate her bringing such sensitive topics to her books because they truly are a part of everyday life for some people. We need a good example to follow.Amber has decided to take a job and relocate her and her daughter in hopes of losing her stalker ex-boyfriend. She just wants a normal life that does not involve him. Little does she know that he knows exactly what she is doing and where she is going. He follows her there, and the stalking escalates to new levels.Travis is an ex-cop turned janitor. With his cop instincts still intact he quickly becomes Ambers protector. Over time feelings between Amber and Travis start to develop, but both are too cautious to act on it. When things go too far and a kidnapping takes place, will he be able to save her?I truly enjoyed reading this story. Not only was it well written, but it kept me wanting more. I found myself unable to put it away because I just had to know what happened next. Highly recommend to anyone who loves a little suspense, and is not afraid to read something a little deep.I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A RIVETING ROMANCE/SUSPENSE NOVEL By Dixie Judy If you like Romantic Suspense with danger and Christian values in the mix, then you will love A Bond at Risk. .....Toying with women was what Eric Fleisher did best, Do unto others, Women had toyed with him plenty, back before he realized he had a talent for torture. There is just something about a woman cringing and begging for her life that really turns him on. He has decided his next victim is Amber Beck...... Amber's best friend had introduced her to Eric, thinking she needed to marry to provide a daddy for her adopted daughter, Sunny. After a couple of dates with Eric, Amber realized he was dangerous and tried to avoid him. He began stalking and threatening her. To escape him, she takes a school aide job in the remote mountains where she grew up. She meets a former policeman, Travis Baudin, who is fighting his own demons. He is the janitor at the school. Of course Eric follows her and Travis is unwillingly brought into the fight..... THIS IS A GREAT READ FILLED WITH SO MUCH EMOTION, I was gifted this book by the author for an honest review.
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Great clean romantic suspense. By E. Lopez Every book I read by Lee Tobin McClain becomes my new favorite. Travis Baudin, former bad guy, former cop, former truster in the Lord comes up against Amber Beck, absolute truster in God regardless of how difficult life may get. Even being stalked by a psychotic murderer doesn't dent her faith. Eric Fleisher makes a perfect antagonist. He may be psychotic and clever but not clever enough. Danger looms over not only Amber and her adopted daughter Sunny,but also over the family who have taken her in and given her a taste of "normal" life. Watching Amber and Travis fall in love, watching Travis find his way back to faith, all while chasing Eric, who's kidnapped Travis's mother, is a page turning read with just the right amount of romance. Don't pass it up.
