Exciting new sci-fi adventure series, great battles and appealing characters By Kitty Smith Star Crusader is an exciting, fast paced sci-fi adventure with plenty of action going on. It reminds me a bit of Ender's Game though the story is original and the plot takes its own, unique course. It's clearly written for teens and young adults but fans of sci-fi and space ships of all ages will enjoy it's hard pitched battle scenes, well visualized ships and technology, and appealing characters. I caught a few typos here and there but nothing big enough to knock you out of the flow of a great story.Nathaniel Lewis and his friends are thrown into the deep end of a war before they're ready, and it's swim hard or sink fast for the fresh faced cadets. Aboard the Relentless they'll experience the thrill of the chase and the excitement of battle, but they'll also have to deal with the loss of friends and an end to the innocence of youth. The book ends well, without an annoying cliffhanger, but does a great job of setting the stage for the next book in the series. I look forward to reading Uprising soon!

By Peter Anthony Roland (PARoland) It's amazing how attached I have become to the Characters in this long running series. As in real life, I mourned the passing of those who sacrificed their lives in previous books, then worried about the fate of their orphaned offspring, & now I am swept away as this latest adventure documents the fate of the survivors, and their offspring; as they too become hero's in their own right, as they enter the military and begin following the path taken by their parents.

Star Crusader is an action-packed adventure that will lead you to seemingly endless battle in space. The author did a great job in creating an original and interesting plot, that involves fighting tactics and strategies for the survival of a handful of cadets. The battle scenes are fast-paced and very realistic. The characters are well-developed and the world-building is very detailed that you wouldn’t feel lost, even if you’ve only read one book from this series . I’m looking forward to reading the other books. Highly recommended!
