Bottom of the 9th By Kindle Customer There are times as a reader when you want a simple story , one where the plot and characterizations are not too complicated .This was almost too simple . I've enjoyed Lindsey Paige's writing in the past , mostly because of her subtlety . This was a very weak effort . I found the story hard to get into and the writing style very sophomoric . This does not bode well for the rest of the series . I'm sorry I didn't like it more .

I love anything and everything they write and Felix is no exception!I immediately fell in love with Abigail and Felix, the chemistry between them was off the charts and I was literally rooting for them the entire time!! But things in a hectic life are not that easy. Can Felix change his way of thinking? How understanding can Abigail really be? These two are put to the test!!Everything worked for me in this book. Everything I love was rolled up into one. The writing was superb and grabbed my attention from page one until the very end!! The characters were amazing and of course the plot was unique and interesting! Of course you throw in some baseball and it was a perfect mixture for me.I am so excited for everyone to start this awesome series. It is filled with love, some drama and angst and an unbelievable journey between two amazing people! I would definitley recommend this book to everyone, and I am soooo looking forward to what else Lindsay and Mary have to come in the future!

Read in One Day By Carey Fletcher Thank you Lindsay for the opportunity to read this ARC for my honest review.I loved the relationships between all the characters in this book! If I didn’t have a husband and son at home that I had to cook dinner for, I would have read it in one sitting. The characters are so fun-loving that I found myself grinning to myself throughout the book. I loved the witty comebacks and made notes of several favorite quotes.Abby has a great relationship with her sisters. Felix has a good relationship with his family as well. Then when you combine the two families, it gets even better.I’m a big baseball fan and am always wondering about the personal lives of the players. This book gave me a good insight into what a baseball player’s life could be like. I have no clue how accurate it is. But that’s the beauty of fiction. The author makes up the story and in this case I thoroughly enjoyed the story!
