6 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Wonderful story. By Martine E. Many shifter books today are full of detailed sex scenes and raw curses. Not thats there is anything wrong with it if that is what you feel like reading but it does get repetative and boring after a while. This romance had it all the attractive and handsome lawman/ bear shifter and the big beautiful strong and troubled damsel in distress. They fall in love. Family problems arise and bad guys get their just desserts. Family is made up of four other handsome bear shifters who I am sure will get their own stories in the future. This is the beginning of a wonderful series. The author includes sex and family, love and friends. This is the total package in a smaller box. It is not a full novel. I would recommend it for a lazy afternoon.

By Kindle enthusiast I have been making my way through several of bear shifter books lately, but the bear shifters of Pinerock are the best! This story has a great balance between suspense and romance. What is even better are the characters in the story and how they relate to one another. This is just a first in what I know would be a great series!
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Great read! By Jessica Madden Sheriff Bear is book one in a new series by Zoe Chant. I love shifter books and this one was enjoyable. I loved how feisty Tara was and loved the first interaction between her and Axl. This had all the elements I love for a shifter story and I would definitely recommend to shifter fans.
