2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Unrealistic By Di The out line of the story is good, unfortunately the author strays from that a lot and I mean a lot. The author filled in the chapters with a bunch of mushy, gushy love. And not with one couple but with four couples. No two couples act the same way in a relationship, so four was definitely unbelievable. An ex-SEALS too being wimpy with their women. Yuck ! I didn't find the women to likeable. I thought they treated their husbands and their husband's friends like children. And this is how it seems to be in the entire series. I won't be reading any more books by this author.

Examples: Short stilted sentences, constant. 'he said' then 'she said', little variation of sentence structure, often repeating the exact same phrases ("i protect what is mine"). Good concept but lacking in execution. Never felt this author knew or had spoken with military personnel.

Sweet story By Kindle Customer Charlene As much as I love the whole "alpha male" and Navy Seal genres that are all the rage right now, I appreciate having a series that not only fits these categories, but where the hero falls in love just as much as the heroine, and where they treat one another well and with respect. This is a sweet, enjoyable read.
