Willem finally accepted that he needs Serenity. Though he tried his best to ignore what was between them, he just couldn't.We see the progression of their relationship from a deep friendship to a sexual one. Though we know Serenity accepts her love for him, Willem, due to his past (and I won't go into detail on that but just let me tell you he had it rough as a child), he says he does not love her. See, Willem only knows one type of love, the destructive love, and though he knows he feel something for Sere, he keeps stating it is not love. Though it hurts Sere, she stays patient, waiting and believing that she will be able to make him love her.Well, they go through a lot of things but the ending, oh my goodness, that ending is painful.It is gut-wrenching, it will make you sad, it will make you want to cry, it will make you hate Willem. But hey, every love story needs a conflict, that's where the passion can be seen as well.The ending will leave you hanging, it will make you mad, it will make you sad and upset.
