Wendy goes from strength to strength in the Wyrde Woods, which are set in the Woods not far from the Neverland care home with all it's troubles and strife but a whole world apart. However, one day big trouble comes to the woods, which has to be addressed by all the folk who live there and others get drawn into it too. The scary pace really picks up and continues throughout this second book in a series created and written by the author. If you thought Book 1 was frightening, try this one for size, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The rage in Wendy comes out in all directions as she continues her teenage transformation from Wendy Twyner into Wenn of the Wyrde Woods..Happily, she also finds love and people who love her, but her life is still greatly affected by demons of the mind and in reality. The perfect setting is the Weald in Sussex UK, well known for it's history and folklore. I also like the carefully chosen and relevant cover and I'm really looking forward to reading more of this man's creative writing.
