Retired biker, Marshal Bailey, was looking for redemption from a self-ruined past. After serving a prison sentence, he found his calling as a children’s entertainer. At the same time, he finds that his conscious mind is deteriorating as the virus slowly transforms him into a flesh-craving cannibal. Will he make it out before he turns?

I liked the characters and the descriptions, there weren't any boring parts, and I wanted to keep reading it to the end. I read it over several hours yesterday and went to bed satisfied that I had actually found a good book to read.The half star goes to some missing words. Mostly the and a. There's also a couple of paragraphs repeated at the end of chapter 23. The grammar is well done and I don't recall seeing misspelled words.There is some foul language but it isn't over the top. There is a violent sex crime committed but it is not described in detail. I'm very glad I didn't have to read that!I rescue dogs and cats and have 2 that need wheels or something so they can walk which means that I can't buy books for a while. I got this one for free in exchange for my honest review. I noticed it's free right now so I would highly recommend you pick it up and add it to your zombie collection. I'll be looking for more from this author.

By Amazon Customer Awesome story, the main character provided an awesome narrative with a unique point of view. This book holds no punches and people are killed off with little fan faire. I was absolutely riveted through out the entire read and couldn't put it down. Zombies are a pretty well known trope but I found this to be an exciting departure from the genre.Great work Mr. Draper!- Chad

By Jules Carl As a voracious reader of this genre, I appreciate a unique and completely different outlook of the zombie apocalypse. This story is just that! Great characters, along with a dark look at just how depraved humanity would become if such an pandemic of this type would actually happen-even though it is pretty much there already-and a conspiracy theory that is brilliantly portrayed in this story, it makes for a very enjoyable experience. Don't pass this one up. You'll be surprised at how imaginative and unique this story is. D. M. Draper is someone to watch for future zombie fodder.
