Young I found this mostly boring but if you are interested in the history of the Congo this is a great book written from the view of a Nun assigned there at a young age. It tells you what lead up to this appointment and the results of this action on two naive girls.

By Amazon Customer Jerome's Pillows is a twisted tale of young unorthodox love which questions many of the moral values of contemporary society and some basic tenets of Christianity. The book may raise the hackles of traditional Catholics, but I found it relevant and thought-provoking. It is a well written, fast paced novel of enduring of love. Highly recommend!
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Couldn't put it down! By Sara W. Christian Filostrat's work in this book is great. Very detailed and not repetitive at all. This was an interesting story. Not "on the edge of your seat" kind of thrilling, but most definitely was engrossing. I would love to read more of his work.
