Not the words specifically but the grammatical writing. It was difficult not filling in the missing words. But as I got further into the book I discovered the intent and it all made sense. I stopped filling in and just went with it.I have read the entire series of 4 books and waited to write my review until I was done as they all coincide with each other.Knight is the quintessential badass! He is the VP of the club and does special missions that he doesn't speak of. He was trained by the government to take out any problems they can't. He does it with such finesse you don't realize until he is back what he has done. He is quiet and dominate very ALPHA!Jess is an abused submissive who hides herself under business attire where she is an office manager for the company Knight works for. She Denys him a date for 3 years until one day she gives in and goes out with him. They are a perfect fit for each other and she is full of surprises for him.As they fall in love the trials and tribulations of being in a MC begin to take shape and lead us into the other lives of the people involved in the series. I strongly recommend if you read the first book you follow thru with reading the entire series. It will move you through the emotions intended by L. Ann Marie. Fantastic series!Oh and the grammar does not follow through the other books. You will not find yourself filling in words! Turns out our VP is direct for a reason and doesn't use to many words to get the point across!

The story was good and the characters had interesting background history, I just didn't care for the D/s thing and found the writing style a bit hard to get into. The sentences were choppy, short and a lot of the expressions seemed to be a bit repetitive but I finished the book anyway. It was free when I got it and it seems like the books were re-published since I got them so my purchase does not show verified.This was more of a book about town bullies and the effort to clean up and re-build a place that was rundown and not prospering. Knight's MC was doing some shady business and yet they all seemed to be fairly nice guys when you get to know them and by the end of this book, it was more like a family drama and less like a biker book...not to mention that they proved the way to a man's heart is through his stomach =)The story dealing with Knight's woman Jess and her illness was unusual for a biker book as well and it showed a more human and fragile side to what could have been strictly an erotic romance between a biker Dom and his sweet sub.I have the second book ready to go (it was free as well when I got it) and I'm hoping for a more believable storyline and better flow with the writing.**** 3.5 **** "this woman can cook" stars
10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. 5 stars By Janet Hammons Love my MC Romances. This was no dis appointment. Stayed up til 3 a.m. to finish cause I couldn't put it down. Love me some Steve and Ben. But I think Tiny maybe me favorite. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.
