11 of 11 people found the following review helpful. Confused By Jennjen Confused...that's the only word I can use to describe how I feel reading this book right now. Unless I'm mistaken (and someone PLEASE correct me if I misread) Sacha's child's mother is first named Alisa Peterson; he was in love with her and she cheated on him with one of his friends that she eventually married and that's why he no longer believes in love. Later, his child's mom is suddenly Jessica Latham, whom he only ever had a sexual relationship with...what??? I'm also quite distracted by all of the small and not so small grammatical errors on just about every page of the book I've read so far (which is a shame because the premise of the story is engaging, just poorly executed). Now in all honesty, I'm only about 50% of the way through the book, and I do plan to finish it (I think), but this just threw me off so much that I just had to stop for the night, write this review and hopefully finish the read tomorrow. If I discover the answers to these irksome questions by the time I complete reading the book I will gladly eat crow, come back and write a better review, but if in the meantime one of the many 5 star reviewers can help clear this confusion up for me I'd appreciate it.

By Lin-( Nerdy Bookworm) I really really wanted to LOVE this book...but I ended up "really like bland "...and I think it had to do with some of the plot twists that seemed way too over-the-top and not realistic. The first novel (Vitkor)was better than this one because this story had great potential but poorly executed. In the story of Vitkor, Sacha was strong, brutal and a true slpha-male. In an attempt to build him up to be a strong loving hero, he is whimpy,confused and weak. Initially, he stated Alisa Peterson was his kid mother and that she cheated on him with one of his friend then later on in the book he states "the child's mom is suddenly Jessica Latham, whom he only ever had a sexual relationship with" and the relationship between Sacha and Kendra wasn't developed enough because of their repetitious banter about the contract and not emotion...All this back-and-forth between them for almost the entire book got so old. The writing was sometimes rushed and need editing improvement.Overall, I was disappointed with this second book. I had hoped it would have been better than the first book but it fell a little too short!!!!!

I really liked the story line By Lindsey I really liked the story line, found it a little unbelievable at times but it's a romance, that's kind of expected. My biggest problem was the editing. It was horrific, wrong words all over the place making it really hard to get into the story. Please correct on your next books, I will give it one more shot but if the rest of the books are this poorly edited I will stop buying books from this author.
