I go back and forth from heavy to light reading depending on my mood. Trust me, I wasn't expecting anything profound with this series. It was just garage. The writing was some of the worst I've ever read and they obviously have no editor. The grammar and punctuation mistakes get so bad throughout the series it starts to get exhausting trying to follow it. The story as too many holes and contradicts itself more than one can take. Names are wrong, backgrounds are mixed up, people are confused. It's a disaster. It's like the author just didn't give a f***. Seriously. The two main characters are completely unlikable and impossible to identify with. Take your chances but it's so bad. Depressingly bad. I'm embarrassed I even read the entire thing.

I was concerned about the amount of drinking but I loved the characters and their journey together. My only complaint is that whoever edited this book did a piss poor job of catching things like "I was redelivered" instead of "I was relieved" or Julia saying "I love you, Julia" instead of Natalie's name. There were so many others it almost became distracting. It was a good read just be prepared to find mistakes. A lot more than a few times.

First of all, the main character Natalie drove me crazy. She had a hot, likable guy chasing after her and she strung him on for what it seems like over half of the book. She was lucky that he stuck around even with all her craziness. Secondly, the author wasted too much time with tiny, tiny details of their lives but then would skip over other events that I thought could have been played out. I found myself skimming through some of the pages when for example, Jet was working out and training and it contained 3 pages of his workout...who cares. Just a paragraph or 2 would suffice. Other times, you thought it would be leading up to a hot romance scene and that would be skipped over and suddenly it was the next day. Wait, stop...what happened! Why did she skip over that stuff but talked about Jet working out for 3 pages or so. Overall, I liked these characters together. Natalie had a lot of insecurities from her past that she had to overcome in order to be with Jet.
