1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Great writing, suspenseful mystery, page turner you can't put down By Tina Bailey This is an amazing series written by a great author. This story is about young love, and a colony of people who can live forever because of special green water. Kyle and Brianna discover the water one day out of necessity. Brianna would've died without it. However, once you use the water, you have to use it every few days or you die. Gov't agents come down on Kyle and Brianna, but Kyle wouldn't tell them where the water is because he knew Brie would end up dead without it. I don't like to spoil a story, so I will say that yes, Kyle and Brianna discover the colony, and once Kyle realizes to live in this colony isn't as easy as it's made out to be by the people giving his orientation, he decides he needs to figure out how to live without the water. That's a dangerous thing to comprehend much less try and succeed in doing. However, Kyle finds out Thor, a Patriarch from the past not only figured out the antidote, but left the colony to never look back. How is a low-level citizen going to find Thor? How is Kyle, after finding out you have to literally fight your way up the hierarchy ladder, going to achieve not only higher status, but the antidote, Thor, and live within the rules set forth? After all the deprivation tank (D-Tank) is a place you never wanna end up because you get deprived of the water for hours for disobeying the rules, and Kyle already knows Brianna suffered without the water. Kyle loves Brianna, and he wants out, but Brianna seems so happy within this colony...she's always been a non-conformist, so why has she changed so radically? If Kyle can leave, will he lose Brianna, the love of his life?? This is a great series, and as busy as I suspect this author is, I hope he continues this one further.
