To me the main character is a bit naive in his expectations, but quickly learns that life is never just going to go the way you think it should. I really like the authors insight into depression and how it effects his characters. Without forcefully preachy or making it the overtone of the book, he finds clever ways to make you aware and understand what it's like to look through the eyes of people who suffer with it.

By Amazon Customer I know a lot of people arent fans of fiction, but I think just about anyone could get into this book. The story will immediately suck you in, and will leave you turning pages like crazy! This book reads a bit like a Chuck Palahniuk novel in my opinion. Craig R. Key hits all the notes of perfectly placed dark humor, as well as giving his narrating character a distinct voice and tone. I would definitely read anything else he cooks up!

A well written story that hits very close to home. Through his writing, Craig R. Key creates an vivid look into the story of Reese, a guy whom anyone who has dealt with or is dealing with depression can relate to. If you're looking for a light, happy story, this isn't the one for you. However, if you want a realistic tale with true grit and passion, Mr. Key delivers.
