5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Highly recommended. By Flowerlady I enjoyed Conduit, another book from Martin, so i was looking forward to reading this one and was not disappointed. One of the enormous strengths of both books is the level of emotional depth connecting the reader to the characters. Sara, the victim, is shown in her entirety as a person. Her character quirks and her personality come through effortlessly. Logan, the male lead, is not just a hired muscle. He is a whole lot more, with a sensitive and wounded side.Another aspect I particularly enjoy is the bad guys. These come across as real people, too. I like to try to guess what is going to happen when I read, but oh boy was I blind-sided. Love it!One of the stand out aspects of this book for me was the amount of research obviously gone into for a character with asthma. This was right on the money and I could easily identify with all the paraphernalia associated and also with what triggered an attack and how to deal with it. This follows through with other aspects of the story. I was carried along by the flawless writing and really quite sad when I came to the end, not because I didn't like the finish, but because I must now wait for the next book from this writer.

From the first page I was sucked in and sent on an adventure with Logan and Sara. I was on the edge of my seat, biting my nails while my heart was beating out of my chest with all the suspense. I felt like I was watching my own personal action movie, with the details in this story I was able to see exactly what Angie wanted me to see and it all played out while reading. I absolutely love these characters and I think you will fall in love with them as well. Especially Logan he's a kick butt kind of guy but he also has a soft side. And Sara, I just want her to be real so we can be friends. lol There is so much in this book, a little bit of everything for everyone. You get drama, action, mystery, romance and even some OMG moments. I most definitely, highly recommend this book.

Reviewer at Book Reviews & Takeovers.*****This book is hands-down my favorite read so far this year! I LOVE thrillers and make a point to read as many as I can, as often as I can. This book is beyond amazing! I know there are a lot of raving reviews posted about many, many books, but I kid you not when I say this is a MUST read for anyone who loves a real edge-of-your-seat thriller with a side of romance.Kudos to the reformed bad boy, Logan. He and Sara are fierce in every way. I don't want to go into too much detail for fear of spoiling the story, but I'll say, don't mess with someone who has seen and lived through unimaginable things and expect there not to be repercussions.This is the first book I've read by this author and I can say with absolute certainty that it won't be the last.Buy it and buy it now!
