Phillips, who composed a high percentage of the work's contents. The premise is that a lengthy series of diverse individuals come to own a single copy of the comic Amazing Fantasy #15, which contains the first appearance of Spider-Man. Each viewpoint character has a different story developing themes of decency, honesty, bravery, kindness, sharing, and compassion. It is suitable for all ages and for parents and children to read together. The stories are very clean (although some feature wicked, violent individuals) and family-oriented. Editing and writing style are clean and professional but not literary or flashy.I recommend this book for families containing children whose parents want to reinforce their humane values through short, simple readings. It is not as suitable for comics fans, since the storylines are more like Reader's Digest than the psychologically complex Marvel or the brutally violent DC titles in print these days.

By Ty Bevington This book is a collections of stories & essays by & about people who have been moved by the saga of Spider-man, especially their first encounter with the hero. There's a lot of people looking at regrets, something Spider-Man has always struggled with & the chance to do the right thing the next time they are challenged. Although Rick L. Phillips was the only author I recognized, the book has some standout talent and really transcends the 'fan-fic' category to bring to light some authors that are not (yet) household names. If you identify with the inner struggles that Peter Parker has to quell, this book is one that will interest you.
