4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. A Delightfully Unusual Love Story By ReadsStuff I’m not sure I’ve ever read a love story quite like this one, and I really enjoyed it! Ana has been chosen to carry Aurora and Nicolas’ baby as a surrogate mother. She does this for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is to help her sick mother. But the night before the embryos will be implanted she finds herself alone with Nicolas and sparks fly. She can’t reconcile it in her head. Why is this happening?This story pulled me in from the first and I read it right in one sitting. I wanted to find out what happened next. I liked the contrast between Ana’s mother grim diagnosis and the life growing inside her.What’s more, Aurora dies under mysterious circumstances, which makes Ana afraid of Nicolas. Can she trust him? Nicolas is no ordinary guy. He’s rich and powerful and she can’t hide from him or pretend that she doesn’t have an agreement to carry his child to term. After Aurora’s death, she tries to run but he finds her and what happens next will keep you on the edge of your seat!

The story was interesting: a woman becomes a surrogate to Hollywood's hottest couple. When the wife is found dead, Ana gets scared and runs only to have the husband find her. He takes her to his place to "keep an eye on her" and things get heated.Glenna does a great job creating a unique story. I wasn't sure what was going to happen and the end just leaves you hanging wanting more; needing more. The characters are great and as a reader it is difficult to gauge the characteristics of Nicolas. He is as mysterious of us as he is to Ana.Great novel, can't wait for the next one.
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Twisty with a great cliffhanger! By Karen Bennett I’ve read some billionaire romance novels in the past, but this one was different and I like that! It wasn’t your typical gorgeous-rich-guy-thinks-he-can-get-any-girl-he-wants story. This book involves the rich guy, but he’s married and the couple is working with a surrogate mother. Things go downhill quickly, which puts a twist in the story. And the ending … great cliffhanger! Looking forward to reading the rest of this series!
