Ben James was groomed to become an Officer in the MC. Prospecting early he was sent to college by the MC President that was looking to form a new type of leadership in their Club. When the President was killed in drug wars and the Brothers started taking each other out to get a bigger cut of the drug money, Ben steps into the President role fighting to keep his Brothers alive and get out of the flesh and drug trades. Pulling his best friend Knight into the VP slot he has his security specialist keeping the Club moving in the right direction. As he moves out of the quick money and into legitimate businesses his Club grows. The new Officers; fight for right, respect their women and value their kids. Working to make money legitimately makes for happy members. All but Ben's old lady, without the constant threats and excitement of wars she leaves Ben and they're adopted son Jessie. Ben sees his Officers finding strong women that build and solidify their purpose and his dream of a clean Brotherhood working and living peacefully within their drug free neighborhoods and community. Raising their kids to take care of each other and treat their women with respect, Ben is so close to his dream but he has no one to share it with. Kate runs the Women's Center within the MC's backyard. The MC supplies the buildings for her offices, shelters for abused women and security to keep them all safe. Ben admires Kate's strength, ability and compassion running the Center and adopting kids from the shelters that would have gone into the system. Danny, Kate's husband, is Ben's Building Supervisor and number two High Security enforcer when he's needed. He's proven himself and earned respect from his Brothers and Ben. When his old lady leaves he moves a few houses away from Kate and her family. His son spends so much time with the LaPonte family Ben is invited regularly to dinners and family activities. He finds himself drawn to them and starts to wonder if he'll ever find a woman like Kate to share his life with.

I was recommended to read the first book in the series by Bink Cummings another author who writes about MC's. I'm not sure she has read the entire series however, I have. I have enjoyed every book. This book tells the Pres' story. Of course the president of the club is very important. He is responsible for all the members of his "family". L. Ann Marie saved the best for last!As I have neglected in my reviews to mention the Little Brothers and Sisters let me just say, "F**king Kids" they teach the adults daily how to be the best they can be.Ben(Pres) is the man responsible for turning a dirty club running dirty business into a clean community running clean businesses and drugs and gangs from his community to protect his family. His wife Tracey leaves his young son and himself on Christmas Eve because he has driven the bad from the community and she doesn't get the excitement she had when all was illegally gotten. He goes through life just working to make things better. Danny is his other half, Ben just doesn't know it.As things get heated and Tracey decides she wants to stir trouble. She tries a multitude of ways to break the triad but she fails and ends up dead in the end.You must read this series in order to follow the timeline as it is very important and the all entwine to create an unbreakable "strong" bond that encompasses Ben, Danny, Steve, Rich and, Patches along with their women, Kate, Jess and Tess, the heads of the heedra along with their children guiding the way for the rest of the support staff to live a life that has meaning and fulfillment.Great read from beginning to end!

My only hesitation on giving this book 5 ☆ is the extreme over use of the word f*ck. I have nothing against the word but it seemed like it was used every other sentence, sometimes every few words.

By Angie H I don't know if people read the same book as me but I don't see it being a 5 star. I love a good biker romance however this author is a bit obsessed with 3 people relationships. I have read book 1 loved it, book 2 was good as well, book 3 was a 3 person relationship and I was like okay fine. Then for this book 4 she has to take the characters from book 2 (Danny & Kate) and put them into a relationship with Ben. Really why not leave them alone and find other members of the MC. I don't know if will continue to finish this series or read this author again. Normally I can read a book in like 1/2 day her 3rd and 4th book took me 3 days to finish. I felt like they kind of dragged on and the same thing happened in book 3 only difference was peoples points of opinion.Also I find this book hard to believe because Kate made a big deal out of Danny sleeping with other women and she wants to add another person to the marriage.And the only part I liked in this book that I gave it a 2 star was because it was funny when Steve duck taped Ben to was threatening to blow him up with c-4 over photos.Bottom line my advice if you want to read this do kindle unlimited and save the money. I'm glad I didn't buy this book or I would be returning it for refund.
