12 of 12 people found the following review helpful. Don't waste your time!!! By MLNVY Waste of time! While the storyline had some potential at the beginning, it just fizzled out. This was purchased as a box set, and was definitely NOT!!! This was only Ava and Brian's story, and a mess that was too!Poor little rich girl whose parents just do not have time for her so they just throw another credit card her way instead. Brian, ex-Seal, was hired by Ava's father to protect her from ex-boyfriend who is a wild card, unstable psycho, to be quite blunt. Now doesn't it seem funny to you that is her parents had no time for her that the father would bother to hire a body guard for their daughter? Yeah, that was a red flag for me!Ava is intent on giving Brian a hard time to prove she doesn't need a babysitter, but Brian is there to do his job, and is just as intent that Ava realize that and follow his instructions. Then came the encounter with the ex- boyfriend, then came Ava and Brian crossing the line with their attraction. THEN came the ex-boyfriend full steam ahead to prove he's a nut job, and to make sure Ava has no one but him. Same sad story, different day!I found this unbelievable, boring and a complete waste of time. Had such high hopes for it when it began...

While I acknowledge that I should have low expectations for a collection that only costs 99¢, the authors should still proofread their work! There are numerous grammatical errors, and many errors in reference to characters, getting them confused, etc. I also expected the novel to be self contained, instead of being disappointed at having the plot end with the need to purchase another book to find an ending.
